We know how important it is to get the healthcare you need, when you need it. In addition to the worldwide network of doctors and facilities available on your health plan, we’ve teamed up with Teladoc Health to bring you Global Virtual Care - providing a confidential, 24/7 access to a team of international doctors by telephone or video call, at no additional cost.

Members who are insured by Sukoon with an International Private Medical Insurance plan that is internationally administered by Bupa Global, you have access to same day medical consultations with a doctor at a time that suits you. With multiple language options available, you will be able to speak with a doctor in a language you are comfortable in. And, where local regulations allow, receive prescriptions and referrals letters sent directly to your phone.

To request a consultation, download the MembersWorld app

  • Click the ‘Virtual Care’ button at the top of the home screen to start your request
  • Select video or telephone consultation
  • Choose your language/location
  • Add in your reason for consultation
  • Submit your request
  • Launch the video consultation at your selected appointment time; or wait for a doctor to call if you selected a telephone consultation.

Language options

For a telephone consultation you can select one of the following languages:

  • Hindi

  • Cantonese
  • Mandarin

For a video consultation only English and Spanish are available.

How many consultations can I have?

You can have an unlimited number of consultations. Any follow-up care outside this service is subject to your policy benefits.

Can I request prescriptions and referrals at any time?

Doctors will issue prescriptions and referrals based on diagnosis and local regulations. They can provide advice on over-the-counter medication and self-care.

Does receiving this service affect the treatment that I am covered for?

Global Virtual Care is not linked to any benefit limits or underwriting on your policy. However, any support or treatment provided as part of the service, does not confirm that any subsequent treatment is covered under your health plan. If you are unsure of whether a treatment is covered following your virtual consultation, please contact us to request pre-authorisation.

Can I request prescriptions and referrals at any time?

If you have a chronic condition doctors may be able to prescribe up to 3 months of medications.

For UK, UAE & Egypt based members, prescription delivery is also available at an additional cost.
